Navigating Virtual Services

We take pride in providing you with a safe and healthy experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, we have transformed our in-person services into virtual options that you can access from the comfort of your home. In-person and concierge services will be restored once the pandemic is contained.

Telehealth

Telepsychology (also known as telehealth and telemental health) is the use technology (phones, tablets, or computers) to connect with your mental health provider remotely. This process is also commonly referred to as a virtual visit.

Video Conferencing

Our providers use a HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform that allows them to see you, and you to see them, without having to leave your home. This experience is similar to an in-person psychotherapy in that it allows your therapist to consider your facial expressions and body language during your session, as they would in a face-to-face visit. In addition, it allows you to see your therapist, allowing for a more authentic and more emotionally open conversation. Our platform can be launched from a laptop, tablet (with a forward-facing camera) and cellphones.

Phone

In the event that video conferencing is not an option, we can also conduct therapy sessions over the phone. Therapy over the phone can also be beneficial in the event that you need to access your therapist during a challenging time when coming into an office may not be an option.

Technical Assistance

We would be happy to provide you with support in selecting a platform and we can provide technical assistance for whichever option you choose.  All of our sessions will be conducted virtually via a HIPAA compliant video platform. For more information regarding our virtual services please contact us.

Should you have difficulty with any of our platforms while attempting to start a session, please feel free to contact our Helpdesk at Camp Psychological 404-372-5251 ext 2.
